In my role as a Video Production Assistant at Elon University, I helped produce a video series spotlighting the university's Maker Hub – a creative workshop space for students and faculty. My responsibilities included setting up equipment, assisting in filming interviews, and recording B-roll to capture the energy of the space. I was also tasked with editing the final video, which will be used by the university to promote the Maker Hub.

The aim of the project was to highlight how the Maker Hub fosters a culture of creativity and collaboration, embodying the spirit of hands-on, experiential learning at Elon University. This piece specifically focuses on the concept of the “maker mindset,” emphasizing the importance of self-directed learning, motivation from within, and the invaluable lessons learned from failure.
